Tuesday's action at the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics features nine medal events, the opening of the women's singles skating event and playoff men's hockey games on a busy day in Italy.

All eyes will be on U.S. women's figure skaters Amber Glenn and Alysa Liu in the short program, which is the first event of the women's singles figure skating event. Glenn and Liu were both part of the United States' team event gold, and now they, along with Isabeau Levito, look to become the first U.S. women to medal in the singles figure skating since 2006. Japan's Kaori Sakamoto is the gold medal favorite, though.

The first medal event of the day is the women's snowboard slopestyle, which features two U.S. finalists: Jessica Perlmutter and Lily Dhawornvej. Medals will also go out in team pursuit speed skating -- where the U.S. has both men's and women's teams in semifinals -- and men's big air freestyle skiing, where Mac Forehand was the top qualifier, among other events
